Who we are

What TennerEats is

A map of independent places where you can get a proper meal for £10.00 or under. Independents only, no chains. The prices are what people say they paid. It is a map of reports, not a guarantee.

Your contributions

• When you add a place, a price, a note or anything else, you confirm that you ate there or checked the price yourself.
• You grant CanMarket Limited a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, edit and adapt what you contribute.
• We may publish the dataset of places, meals, prices, notes and scores under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. Display names are not part of it.

Moderation

We may edit, hide, remove or reject anything, rename or remove display names, and take back bites. There is no appeal process beyond emailing us.

Bites

Bites are points with no cash value. You have no right to them, and we may change or take them back.

Business owners

TennerEats is a map of public prices. If a listing is wrong, or you would like it removed, email us and we will deal with it.

Acceptable use

• No false prices or made-up places.
• No automated submissions.
• No abuse in display names or notes.
• No scraping that puts a burden on the service.

No warranty and limited liability

Prices change, so check before you order. We provide the site as it is, with no promise that it is accurate or always available. We exclude liability as far as the law allows. Nothing here excludes anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

If we change these terms we will date the change here.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. See also our privacy notice.
